Our third home, is set in nearly two acres of land in a beautiful valley near Pontardulais, Swansea. Very rural in location, Graig provides an ideal service in which young people can reflect on their issues and work towards a transition home, foster care or towards independence.
Our staff at Graig are experienced in dealing with very vulnerable young people who have challenging behaviours including self-harm and are especially experienced and trained in working with CSE.
We work in partnership with the Barnardo’s Focused Futures programme and therapeutic staff who can work with young people to understand risk and risk management.
Young people at Graig work towards our independence programme and our independent skills QCF. Should it be appropriate, they can transfer to one of our five independent flats prior to transition to independence to reinforce their living skills.
In addition, our partnership with several foster care agencies enable us to help with finding appropriate foster carers, should this be appropriate.
Graig has an Estyn registered school on site that can provide education towards academic qualifications.
